Dried Coreopsis tinctoria flowers, hand-picked from plants sown, grown and cared for in my dyeing garden in the mountains of Valle d'Aosta (Italy), in a natural environment far from pollution without treatments, and dried in a dry and airy.
Coreopsis tinctoria flowers can be used in natural dyeing to obtain beautiful shades of yellow, orange and red depending on several variables during the color extraction and dyeing process.
You can use from 20 to 50% of dried plant, based on the intensity of the color you want to obtain.
It is possible to use successive dye baths thanks to the abundant amount of color contained in the flowers.

Shades of red with basic pH or yellow with acidic pH can be obtained.
