Hypericum perforatum or dried St. John's Wort, hand-picked in the mountains of Valle d'Aosta (Italy), in natural environments away from pollution, and dried in a dry and airy environment.
The flowering tops of St. John's wort can be used in natural dyeing to obtain beautiful shades of yellow, green and brown depending on various variables during the color extraction and dyeing process.
It can be used from 30 to 100% of dried plant, according to the intensity of the color to be obtained.
It is possible to use successive dye baths thanks to the abundant amount of color contained in the plant.
St. John's wort dyes alum-etched natural fibers yellow, green or brown.
Shades of green can be obtained on fibers etched with iron or copper.
Packs of 25g, 50g, 100g or 200g are available.
